Holly Avenue has done a GREAT job in responding to the challenge of collecting plastic bags. We have already turned in 9 Collection Bags to Walmart which is the equivalent of $45 for our school and removed that many bags from going into our landfills. Please get together all your clean, dry plastic grocery and shopping bags and BRING THEM TO SCHOOL BEFORE MONDAY, APRIL 17. Don't forget to ask your family, friends and neighbors to give you bags as well. There are two green collection boxes set up for only recycling the plastic bags. One is located at the Kindergarten drop off site and the other is in the hallway across from the school office. Again, ALL BAGS MUST BE TURNED IN BY MONDAY, APRIL 17 in order for our school to get credit. Thank you all again for participating in the KIDS RECYCLING CHALLENGE.
