Re: White Christmas Food Drive Dear Holly Avenue Friends, There is a BIG change in our White Christmas Food Drive this year. We will not be collecting food after Thanksgiving. We will have a food drive in April instead. The Arcadia Welfare & Thrift Shop Board (AWT), the organization that runs the White Christmas program, with agreement and input from all the schools, has decided to change the program to better meet the needs of the families they serve. They have assigned a different month of the year to each Arcadia school to hold a food drive. This schedule will provide AWT with a steady supply of food throughout the year instead of a massive amount at one time. Naturally, the name of our food drive will most likely change too. Re:  White Christmas Food Drive

Dear Holly Avenue Friends,

There is a BIG change in our White Christmas Food Drive this year. = We will not be collecting food after Thanksgiving.  We will have a fo= od drive in April instead.

The Arcadia Welfare & Thrift Shop Board (AWT), the organization that= runs the White Christmas program, with agreement and input from all the sc= hools, has decided to change the program to better meet the needs of the fa= milies they serve.  They have assigned a different month of the year t= o each Arcadia school to hold a food drive.  This schedule will provid= e AWT with a steady supply of food throughout the year instead of a massive= amount at one time.  Naturally, the name of our food drive will most = likely change too.

On behalf of the PTA and AWT, we would like to thank all of you for= your generous support of this program in the past.  We look forw= ard to your continued support in April.  Thank you.

Mary Barkow
