officially begun! Please save any receipts from any Fresh & Easy of $20=
or more purchased between September 15, 2009 and December 31, 2009 and tur=
n them into your teachers or school office. Fresh & Easy will giv=
e $1 for every $20 increment, but every single receipt MUST be $20 or more.=
They will not round up or give donation even if the receipt is $19.9=
9. They will not allow you to total or accumulate receipts to add up =
to $20. RECEIPTS MUST BE $20 or more, or in $20 increments. The=
receipts can be from ANY Fresh & Easy Neighborhood market, so ask fami=
ly and friends to save them for you too!
Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Snow Festival!&=
nbsp; Saturday, December 5th
Get ready for the holidays and come join us for =
breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 5th at the Arcadia Community Cen=
ter. Breakfast with Santa is $8 per person and includes breakfast, ph=
otos with Santa and holiday entertainment. There will be two options =
for breakfast: 8:30-9:30am (#2661) or 10:30-11:30am (#2662). Space is=
limited. Registrations will be accepted beginning Monday, November 2nd.&nb=
sp; Just go on-line to the City of Arcadia=E2=80=99s website: www.ci.arcadia.ca.us, to download the registration form or stop by the office, 375 Camp=
us Drive.
The Holiday Snow Festival is free to the public =
and will also take place at the Arcadia Community Center on the same day fr=
om 9am-2pm. This event will feature holiday entertainment, crafts, tr=
olley train rides, dual sled runs and two snow play areas. In-n-Out Burgers=
will be available for purchase from 11:30am-1:30pm. Santa will only =
be present at the Breakfast with Santa Event. Parking will be availab=
le at Gate 3 of the Santa Anita Race Track. Shuttle service will be a=
vailable to transport participants to and from the Community Center from 7:=
45am-3pm. In the event of rain, the Snow Festival will be held Saturd=

Care giving can be a rewarding experience,=
but it also has many challenges. The holidays are commonly a big source of=
stress for caregivers. The Los Angeles Caregiver Resource Center has desig=
ned a training that offers caregivers the opportunity to learn easy and fun=
ways for better self-care. This free half-day training is open to caregive=
rs in Los Angeles County and will take place at the Arcadia Community Cente=
r, 365 Campus Drive Thursday, December 10 from 8:30-11:30am.
