Community Bike Ride - Come and =
join your friends and neighbors as the Arcadia Recreation Department hosts =
a Community Bike Ride on Saturday, May 2. This will be a leisurely ri=
de, not a race, and is about 7.5 miles long. Following the bike ride =
participants are encouraged to attend the Arcadia Firefighter's Pancake Bre=
akfast held at Fire Station 106. Pick up a yellow flyer for more info=
rmation.
Arcadia Indians Football and Cheer - The season begins late July and=
goes through mid November with Cheer continuing thru December. Footb=
all and Cheer are for all students between the ages of 6-14 who live in Arc=
adia, Monrovia and Sierra Madre. Registration for the upcoming year will be=
held on May 2. Pick up a gold flyer in the office.

This promotiona= l issue is not limited to our 5th graders, but is open to all Holly familie= s who would like to recognize an achievement their child has accomplished-b= e it sports, the arts-music, dance, etc.&= nbsp; YOU can s= ubmit an ad for publication on the Horizons for $5!!! Our June issue of the Horizons will feature (opti= onal) ads and congratulations for our 5th graders who will be promoted to m= iddle school OR any Congratulations to any Holly Student for a job well don= e-whether it be academically, athletics or in the arts. These 3" X5" = sized ads at the cost of $5.00 can be 1) dropped off at the office for= the PTA box by June 1 (Please attach payment to Holly Avenue PTA with= ad. Ads without payment and appropriate editorial content wi= ll not be printed) 2) If you'd like to send your ad via= email, you must send payment to the office.
