Holly Avenue Families-our Paper (5th grade) & Glue Stick (2<= /font>nd) Drive will be= gin.  Grade levels, please support us- bring i= n the requested material during your month.  T= here is a little contest between the classrooms, but more to the point ?ple= ase know that the office has informed us that because of the economy and th= e budget cuts, we have already used up our budgeted amounts for the paper s= upplies for our classrooms for the year!  We a= re trying to maintain the requisite amount of paper needed by the school by= having each grade level cover the drive during their designated month. 

 

Fifth Grade Parents and Students:

Holly Avenue Yearbook Committee wants your photos= to be included in the 2009-2010 Fifth Grade Yearbook!&nbs= p; Please have your child submit ORIGINAL, GLOSSY pictures to the en= velope in his/her classroom. No, the originals will not be returned.   Please submit yo= ur photos by December 15, 2009.  Don't forget, dedications can also be= made to your child! (Dedication is optional, of course).   Your contribution will help make our yearbook a suc= cess!  5th grade teachers have Yearbook information and the dedic= ation page $15.00/dedication, a template to dedicate on. Each teacher was a= lso provided an envelope that says Fifth Grade Yearbook Photos. I=  will periodically check with each teacher for photos until December 1= 5th. SunnyD, Kids in Need Foundation and Scholastic Books h= ave teamed up to help teachers get new soft cover reading books for their c= lassroom libraries.  It?s really easy!! All we need is 20 UPC labels f= rom qualifying SunnyD products to earn 20 books!Please collect and turn in&= nbsp;UPC labels from any of the following SunnyD products to your teacher (= or school office)

-Bottles: 128 oz, 96 oz, 64 oz, 48 oz, 20 oz and 16 oz=

-6 PACK OUTER WRAPS:  11.3 oz and 6.75 oz<= /p>

-24 PACK OUTER WRAPS:  11.3 oz and 6.75 oz=

-CARDBOARD CASES: 12 packs 6.75 oz bottles, 12 or 24 p= acks 12 oz cans

-1, 2 & 3 LITER BOTTLES

Fresh & Easy's Shop for Schools Program has offici= ally begun!Please save any receipts from any Fresh & Easy of $20 or mor= e purchased between September 15, 2009 and December 31, 2009 and turn them = into your teachers or school office.  Fresh & Easy will give $1 fo= r every $20 increment, but every single receipt MUST be $20 or more.  = They will not round up or give donation even if the receipt is $19.99. = ; They will not allow you to total or accumulate receipts to add up to $20.=   RECEIPTS MUST BE $20 or more, or in $20 increments.  The receip= ts can be from ANY Fresh & Easy Neighborhood market, so ask family and = friends to save them for you too!


Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 15 from = 4pm to 8pm for a special Fresh & Easy Shopping Night at the Fresh &= Easy Neighborhood Market at 133 E. Foothill (by Foothill and 2nd) in Arcad= ia.  Holly Avenue will receive 5% of the store's sales.  This is = on top of the $1 for every $20 spent our school will receive through the Sh= op for Schools program, so save those receipts that night as well!  Th= ese funds will be going directly to the school to help purchase needed supp= lies.
