It is hard to believe that testing is next week an= d before we know it, May will be here and then our 5th graders will be fini= shing up their school days at Holly Ave!!
If you have not returned y= our forms telling what you can contribute (time and money) for the 5th grad= e party and car wash fundraiser, please do so by this Friday. Also, p= lease turn in all your car wash tickets and money raised by Friday to your = teacher.
As of right now, we only have 12 adults signed up to help w= ith the car wash. We really need at least 12 more adults, and we woul= d like more than that. Please know that this is our last fundraiser t= his year. What we do for the party is dependent on the success of thi= s car wash. Please let family and friends know they can bring their a= utomobile to Holly Ave on Saturday between 9 AM and 3 PM and get their car = washed for only $5
Next week, we will be looking at how much money w= e made from the car wash. If we make enough, then plans for the party= will continue. However, if we do not raise enough money, then we wil= l not be able to go bowling. We will have to explore other alternativ= es with the budget that we have. With that said, please encourage your chil= d to sell their 5 tickets, and if you can, come and spend an hour or two wi= th your child on Saturday washing cars to raise money for their special day= .
