When we work together we can encourage each other to make good choices.      The Hugo Reid PTSA “Red Ribbon Team” will pass out drug free wristbands in class today.  By wearing this wristband you pledge to be “drug free”.  You will also have the opportunity to pledge to be drug free to your school by signing the “Hugo Reid Shows Respect by being Drug Free” banners and tying red ribbons around the school.  By making this drug free pledge, you declare that you respect yourself and the environment around you.   Tuesday, October 21 - Show Responsibility and Sock it to Drugs!     Show some spirit by putting on your craziest pair of socks.  Be responsible and make smart choices when it comes to drugs and other harmful substances. Wednesday, October 22 - Play Fair…Put a cap on and shade out Drugs!     By being fair you choose to treat others the way you want to be treated and stay drug free.  Wear your favorite Hat or Sunglasses and say no to drugs. Thursday, October 23 - Have Courage, Celebrate Red Day!     Be Daring and wear Red from head to toe.  Red is the drug free color…let’s make a statement!!
