FORUM There is an upcoming Board of Education (Arcadia Unified school board) election in April. Arcadia Council PTA, along with the Arcadia Chinese Association, will be hosting a candidates' forum. This is a great opportunity to meet and question the three candidates. The forum will take place on Wednesday, March 18 at 7:00 at the Arcadia Masonic Lodge. We encourage your participation in the budget forum as well as the candidates' forum. ************************************************************************************************** ANNOUNCEMENT #3 - SPRING PICTURE DATE CHANGE FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Due to the Mon-Thurs Intervention classes and the Writing tests, we have rescheduled the Spring Pics for the big school to be on Friday, March 20th. The Aquarium of the Pacific welcomes PTSA members to come explore the Aquarium and learn about the education opportunities for students of all ages. Two behind-the-scenes classrooms will be open and filled with activities for students of all ages. Each PTSA member is welcome to bring up to 3 children. Check in will begin at 12 noon at the front of the Aquarium and you are welcome to explore until 6 pm. A parking fee of $6 is not included and will be collected as you exit the parking structure. To reserve your space for PTSA day, please call 562-951-1630. Reservations are required.
