#ArcadiaFirstDay

arcadia first day

The time is here for us to kick off our 2024-25 school year! We wanted to send a friendly reminder that Arcadia High School returns this Wednesday, 8/14/24, and all of our elementary and middle schools return on Thursday, 8/15/24. For your reference and prep for the months ahead, you can access all of our 2024-25 school year calendars here

#ArcadiaFirstDay is 11 years old!

This year marks the 11th anniversary of our #ArcadiaFirstDay program! Created to help us collect and share those priceless first-day-of-school smiles and memories, we invite you to join us in celebrating a decade of #ArcadiaFirstDay. Last year, we collected almost 800 #ArcadiaFirstDay photos, and we look forward to adding even more smiles and first-day fun to this year’s Facebook photo album. How to Participate in the #ArcadiaFirstDay Photo Fun:

-Twitter (now called “X”): We can easily find and share #ArcadiaFirstDay pictures on X if you use the hashtag or if you mention @arcadiaunified in your post.

-Facebook: You can post photos directly to our Facebook page. Please be sure to use #ArcadiaFirstDay in your post.

-Instagram: Please use #ArcadiaFirstDay in your post.*

-Email (Recommended): You can also email your #ArcadiaFirstDay photos to [email protected], and we will add them to our districtwide Back to School photo album on Facebook.

-Signs: Here are printable #ArcadiaFirstDay signs for each of our schools in case you’d like to use them in your photos this week. Please note there is a dotted line space for your student to put the grade level they are starting this year. For TK and Kindergarten families, you can circle the grade level on your sign. Arcadia Unified staff, we made separate signs for you to note how many years you’ve been in AUSD!

*Please note that we are unable to access photos you post on your Facebook or Instagram pages if your account is set to private, but you can easily email them to [email protected]

Our theme for this school year is “Celebrating Healthy Partnerships,” and we are ecstatic thinking about the dynamic and meaningful ways we will partner to build upon access to programs, resources, facilities, tools, and more for our students, staff, and families.

Be sure to like and follow our Facebook page so you can see all the #ArcadiaFirstDay photos this week!

Happy #ArcadiaFirstDay, everyone!

Sincerely,

Arcadia Unified School District
